Supporting children for the long term.
Every child has the right to feel loved, safe and supported. Not just today, but throughout their childhood and into adulthood.
That’s why we work with local partners for the long term. We support children and young people with education, healthcare, emotional wellbeing and practical help. Your support means they get the care, opportunities and stability they need to thrive.
Because a disrupted childhood does not have to mean a fractured future.
Keeping families together.
Children deserve to grow up in a loving and supportive family. That’s why we work with families before they reach crisis point. We help parents and those caring for children to access the support they need when they need it.
That could mean help with education, healthcare, work and income, or parenting support. By easing the pressures families face, we can help prevent unnecessary separation.
So more children can stay safely with the people who know, love and care for them.
Protecting children in times of crisis.
Conflict, disaster and displacement can put children at immediate risk of harm and separation.
We respond alongside local partners to help children and families access protection, essentials such as shelter, food and water, and safe spaces. We also help children find safe care, stay connected to family and recover from crisis. Where children have become separated, we support them to return home when it is safe and right.
Every child needs childhood.
Childhood should be a time of love, joy, learning and discovery. Yet too many children grow up without the care, safety and support they need.
Our work helps create the conditions children need to thrive. Strong relationships. Good health. Opportunities to learn. People who are there for them.
With your support, more children can enjoy the childhood they deserve.

FAQs.
How will my donation be used?
We are here for children who don’t have the love and support of a parent or guardian. And for those at risk of being separated from their families. Your support makes our work possible. It can help families get support before crisis, protect children when separation happens and strengthen the services around them. This can include food, healthcare, education, safe care and emotional support.
Can I choose where my donation goes?
Yes. You can donate to specific appeals, including our emergency appeals when they are running.
Donations through our main Donate page are used wherever the need is greatest, so we can direct funding to children when they need it most. This means more children can grow up safe, loved and supported.
Can I add Gift Aid to my donation?
Yes, if you’re a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation by 25% at no extra cost through Gift Aid. Simply tick the Gift Aid box when donating, and for every £1 you give, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC.
Can I set up a regular donation?
Yes. Regular gifts provide ongoing support for children and families and help us plan our work for the long term.
You can set up a monthly donation here.
